Network

SAWC’s Network is an online community that allows members to connect, inform and participate around shared watershed issues.

GOAL:

SE Alaska is a place where a network of community-based watershed efforts is achieving informed management of the resources.

The Network serves as a hub where people can form and/or become members of a particular “group.”

These “groups” allow members to ask questions, share information and resources and connect around issues they find important.

The network is an online community of local organizations, governments, and tribes, as well as, natural resource agency staffers, individuals, non-government organizations, scientists, practitioners, businesses, industry and developers who are dedicated to community-based watershed management.

By taking part in the network – by asking questions, providing ideas and resources, and donating your time and energy you are actively supporting the wise management of Southeast Alaska’s watersheds at the local leve!!!

If you would like to create a new “group” please contact alaskawatersheds@gmail.com

Groups are transparent and allow for uncensored open discussions to take  place between members

The SAWC Network builds on network theory which is to find and organize resources, opportunities, people and communities in order to create informed action and participation around issues impacting our lives.
